I made this little guy for May’s Paper Funday Challenge, which featured Pajama Crafter Stamps as one of the sponsors. Their digital stamp set came with the cocoa-snuggling penguin, the sentiment, AND the matching DSP, which feels kinda like getting an extra fry at the bottom of the bag!
I printed the penguin and the patterned paper at home, then colored him with Ohuhu markers. The blush on his cheeks is Distress Oxide ink, which gives him that “I just came in from sledding” glow. I added two layered circles in different blues behind him for some depth, then mounted everything on a diagonal fun fold!
The penguin had to be fussy cut, which is one of my least favorite craft activities, but look at his cute little face! Worth it.
I love digital stamps because I love the ease of being able to make a stamp in whatever size I want, having the flexibility of coloring it digitally or physically, and the cost-effectiveness! Also, since this came as a set, it made an adorable card come together quickly without me staring at my craft supplies for hours trying to come up with the design, which is a major win in my book.
